« This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend! »

« Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully. »

« Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open. »

« We had an amazing weekend. The house is a bit outdated, but we were there to be outside. There is another rental connected to the A-frame. The walls are very thin, but we didn't mind at all. (We're used to the loud city). They have their own fire pit and outdoor section in the back yard. The A-Frame has the huge fire pit and seating area in the front.There's anything you need within a 10 min drive(groceries, alcohol, restaurants, etc.) Main St was super cute,we strolled around to look at the...

« It was a cute little older home. With nice updates on the inside. They are definitly doing work to the exterior. In the description it said there was a grill. Which there was unfortunately there was so many large black trash bags you could not get to it. The first step at the side walk was broken. And the railing inaide was very loose. Although there was some minor issues we enjoyed out atay. »

« This was such a great house for our girls weekend. Check in process with the home owner was so smooth. House felt clean, safe, and you can tell the owner puts great care into her guests. Such good communication. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods. The lake is beautiful! Highly recommend this spot. The only snafoo is that gate check in process was pretty strick so make sure your registration isn't expired!! »

« My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city. »
