« The staff was great! The property was beautiful. The fine dining was good. But our room could have been better. The blinds were filthy, My bed had something in it that needed brushed off before I laid down. The bathroom had hair on the walls and the molding was brown from lack of cleaning. This is a beautiful historic hotel. And the staff we encountered were great. But the cleaning staff needs to get better. »

« It was good, I would stay there again. »

« The shower needs to be reworked. »

« Linens weren’t clean when I stayed here, but the room did the job. If you don’t mind a slightly run down situation, this works. »

« Everything was great. Definitely rustic and secluded but was exactly as described. »

« I absolutely loved our experience here at The Nook! This cottage has so much charm and so clean! The hosts thought of everything in order to accommodate the best stay! This is a true gem. My only criticism is the fact we now have to leave and go to a hotel for our next stop which is about 3 hrs away. Thank you so much for the fabulous accommodations! »

« Great place to stay and convenient for walking to restaurants! »

« Our family had a wonderful stay at Mother Allie’s House in Plains, Georgia. The home has been beautifully restored while preserving so much of its rich history, making it a truly unique place to stay. Every room reflected the character of the house, and it felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern comforts of home.We visited with our two sons (ages 8 and 12), and the location was perfect for exploring Plains. We specifically traveled to learn more about Rosalynn...

« The house was very nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. »

« Great house and Great location! We had a great time! »
