'My sister & I had a delightful birthday break on Orcas. This home was by far the nicest & best equipped rental ever! Beautifully decorated, really felt like visiting good friends! Location so close to town for shopping with easy access for exploring. Even though out of season we kept very busy. Weather blessed us with just a few showers. Hiking, visiting small town centers & inter island ferry made for great daily adventures especially since we knew our days would end in our wonderful “home”!...

'My family had a great stay at West Beach resort. Cabin was great with all we need, right on the beach. It was amazing to spend evenings around fire place and to hear t waves. Very relaxing. It was nice to have convince store at resort to buy coffee or other basics. Everyone was very friendly. We loved it. '

'Property was everything advertised and more. Such a warm and lovely home that was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location was convenient to many areas and activities of the Island. The windows in every room brought in the natural beauty of the forest. Linens were plentiful and starter supplies were appreciated. We will lease this property again when on the Island. '

'Cozy, green, comfortable. The home was close enough to town but very private. The gardens are amazing. Our host was present but not intrusive. The kitchen had all the things we needed, and the Propane fireplace was extremely useful on the chilly mornings in the sunken living room which had a sweet view of the pond and was a great way to welcome in the day. 'What a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the trees! The Hobbit House is surrounded by towering pines, offering a quiet unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Through the trees, the ocean views are absolutely stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s just a short walk down to the water, where we were greeted by a family of deer and watched golden squirrels scurrying about. 'The house was clean, well stocked and had a lovely view. I would HIGHLY recommend the owner buy a new mattress for the bedroom with the adjoining bathroom. They put a topper on a saggy mattress. I ended up sleeping on the floor. Luckily I brought a sleeping bag. Still gave it a 10 review as this is easily resolved. '
