'Upon check-in, entered first of 2 rooms reserved. Toilet made a terrible squeekling noise when being flushed. Air conditioner rattled and door stuck opening (221). 2nd room the ceiling fan in bathroom sounded like it was stuck and not spinning freely, air conditioner was missing control knobs, and water pressure in shower was very low. Property was was not well maintained and in serious need of upgrades and renovations. The free breakfast was all packaged food, nothing fresh.'

'My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!'

'Host was very easy to work with. Great communication. Had the place all warmed up when we got there. Place was very warm and comfy. Living room has a couch and 2 recliners, TV and WIFI. Host has gas onsite for purchase. Easy access to the snowmobile trail. '

Early on before booking I had some questions as there was confusion about how many bedrooms and beds in the actual listing,but he clarified that and that was completely accurate. we were happy with the house, patio and pier with a great view of the lake which was on a peninsula, so there was very little boat traffic.
