'We had reserved two rooms for the Fourth of July weekend. We arrived late on Thursday night as we indicated we would be. Upon arriving, we were immediately shocked by the state of the lobby. Dark, not inviting, clearly old and rundown. We checked in and were even more shocked when we entered our rooms. Stains on all of the comforters, mold in the bathroom, growing on the shower curtains, and on the tile tiles. Dead bug in the ceiling light. Stains on the floors, air conditioner was spewing,...

'The host was excellent...very communicative and accommodating. Prices in this area seem high, particularly for the off season, but this home was one of the most affordable of those available during the timeframe I needed. Furnishings, bedding, towels, etc. are adequate but of lower quality than most vacation rentals we have stayed in. For an in-season stay where 90% of your time will be spent outdoors, this place would serve its purpose well, but a few upgrades could make it more comfortable....

'Cute, cozy cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor space for entertaining or relaxing by the lake and fire. Note that there’s no TV. WiFi was good for us. Lots of windows to let natural light in. We had a good time and will certainly be back!'

'What a wonderful place. Our host was very attentive when we first arrived and they were even adding to the experience by creating a path to the water. Sitting outside on the back porch is so pleasant and relaxing. The inside is furnished with very comfortable couches and chairs and a large (maybe 65”) smart tv in the living room (and both bedrooms). The beds are very comfortable, both queen sized. And a bonus of a second half bath which was super convenient for a family. The floors are all wood...
