« Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost »

« The park, the trails, and the sights are beautiful and well worth a visit. The lodge and facilities are not. The lack of state funding for the property shows, which is unfortunate and sad. The good: The sheets, towels, and bed were clean and comfortable. At least there’s that. The common areas were trapped in the ‘60s, which could have been charming if not for the litter and bird droppings and dead bugs. « i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future. »
