'I loved the size ov the room, it was like a home away from home. The room has small kitchen area, living room, big tv, lots of storage and surfaces to store stuff, comfortable beds. The pool is saltwater, but sadly not heated. The hotel was centrally located to the river, restraunts and shopping.'

'The property was nice enough. The lobby was nice, the staff were friendly. However, the room had a distinct, unpleasant odor. I thought it would dissipate as the stay lingered. Alas, it did not. The toilet ran all night even after inspection and jiggling the handle on multiple occasions. After Night 2 of a three-night reservation, I couldn't take the lack of sleep and odor. I checked out and left for another property. The front desk didn't ask why I was cutting my reservation short or if...

'The staff are great. The elevators are the biggest detractor- crazy slow and small. The lobby a bit humid but other than that it’s a great spot!'

'After leaving another property after sleepless nights, I checked into Hampton Inn South. I met Jacky at the front desk, who was awesome. He made sure I had a nicer room than the one I was originally assigned. He was so kind! The stay was delightful--so much so that my fiancé and I extended our stay an extra night. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone exploring Owensboro and looking for an alternative to the downtown district (which is also lovely!).'

'Just a great outing. Cabin was warm and the fire pit was great. Enjoyed a big fire both nights and watched some good movies on the DVR. The bathroom and shower area are very large for a small cabin. Great place to catch up with old friends and talk the night away. 5 star for sure. The host was quick to answer all of our questions and was great. Love and plan on coming back again. '

The only thing we noticed that was a bit concerning is where the tub surround meets the bathtub seemed to need new grout or caulk as it was discolored with grime. We were in town for an event and stayed only one night, but I'm sure we will return again.'
