'Very nice property, easy access to dock and fishing…IF there were fish!! Not ONE worthwhile was caught but we found that the is wasn’t the fishermen but the waterway which has caused no fish! Your home is very well equipped as you mentioned…thanks! It was unfortunately stupid hot and humid but the two thunderstorms in the week were amazing with the lightning and thunder! 'Check in couldn't have been easier. The kitchen was well equipped with basic spices, pots and pans, coffee, tea and appliances. Smooth Wi-Fi access. The house was clean, the bedding and towels were clean and my husband with a bad back found the mattresses comfortable.I will say that we ended up buying gallon jugs of water to drink because we found the tap water to be too metallic tasting. 'This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too.
