« Really enjoyed this place highly recommended we will definitely stay again next trip to holiday world »

« special place »

« only a minor issue, the first step leading up to the porch was a little too high, just needs an additional step at the bottom »

« The breakfast was adequate. The room was dusty. The lady said they had been doing construction work in the room and they tried to get all the dust out. The comforter was blood stained. Also there was no shampoo in the dispenser. The lady at the front desk said they were having a hard time finding housekeeping workers. They were down to one that day and the wives of maintenance workers were helping clean the rooms. The people I dealt with at the front desk were very pleasant. The rest of the...

« I liked that this hotel had an option to have a sofa sleeper. Being a family of 5 it can be hard to find a room to fit us all. The only thing is, when we opened the sofa sleeper there were chips under the cushions. The breakfast was a nice amenity. We had a lot of people eating when we went down for breakfast. They seemed to be keeping up with the demand on the food. Wish they offered hot chocolate(kids) and French Vanilla creamer for the coffee. »

« Upon arrival and check in, our first offered room smelled awful, the second was a bit better & the third worked great. It was obviously a known issue because the staff asked if it smelled moldy when I said it smelled bad. Our 2nd room had some lights and a the bathroom fan that didn’t work. The 3rd was well maintained and quite clean. The pool got the most attention, which was comical considering the small of some of the rooms. I gave them 5 stars because the staff, specifically Freddy, went...

« Staff was rude and not helpful. Room was not clean. Toilet leaked. This is a horribly run place »

« They can most definitely do better. »

« This was the perfect place for my family to stay for our annual trip to Holiday World. We have stayed at other hotels and the cottages near the park and this place was by far the best. Perfect amount of space for us, our 2 girls and our 3 nieces. Loved the location. Our kids loved the animals. Hoping to make it back next year and will definitely look to book Shannon’s place again. I highly recommend Shannon’s place! »

« Clean, great location, comfortable and close to holiday world, walking distance to a delightful shopping center. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans coffee maker, dishes towels and everything you might need. I could not be happier. »

« Only gave this 4 stars for a couple reasons. First was the address on VRBO is incorrect so we had a hard time finding the place at night. Second was the dishwasher was broken and we weren't told that in advance and there was no sign on it or anything to that affect. We wouldn't have been frustrated had we known about it. I have discussed both issues with owner which he said he would look into. Other than that, property was 10 minutes from Holiday World and perfect for our family of 6 adults and...

« Great location, host was responsive and easy to communicate. Would stay here again »

« The house and the property were perfect for our trip to the Hoosier National Forest. »

« We had such a great stay at this property. We would definitely book this property again!! It was perfect for our girls weekend. The house was very very clean!! It was very comfortable and cozy. The two bedrooms with the King size beds were very large and roomy. The bedroom with the full-size and twin bed was smaller but we had plenty of room for 3 people in there. The beds were very very comfortable! The host thought of great way to have the towels set up on the rack in the main bathroom.Very...

« Derby time never disappoints! We love every stay here. 44th wedding anniversary this year. »

« Very clean and fancy interior. »

« We had a great stay! The location couldn’t have been better—it’s across the street from Holiday World, making it incredibly convenient. The space is much larger than it appears. It has 10 separate areas, including a full kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, a laundry room, two bathrooms (one with a toilet and sink, and another with a shower), plus multiple hallways that provide extra privacy. Both the kitchen and living room have doors, which helped keep noise from traveling throughout the...

« Great place. Clean and very spacious for one or two people. Highly recommend! »
