'Easy to find, easy to park. Flexible for a late check-in. The room is spacious and includes a fridge. Good working wifi in the room. In July the pool is open until 10 pm. Minor point: the breakfast doesn’t offer that much healty choices. Good value for money after all.'

'I was pleasantly surprised to find that this old motel had been updated nicely. It was clean and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. A small writing desk would have been a nice addition to the room. If I had it to do over again, I would have probably driven across the river and found a place to stay in Point Pleasant.'

'Extremely dirty and filthy rooms. We had centipedes and spiders on our walls. The baseboard was falling off and had rotting wood. Our room was non-smoking but smelled strong of smoke. The carpet was dingy, dirty and wet. The entire hotel smelled musty. I’ve never spent the night and such a dirty place. Every corner of the room had a spider and spider webs. The only reason I’d rate this a 1 star is because of the staff. They were extremely helpful and very nice, otherwise I’d rate it a 0/10....

'We checked in late and it was dark. Host responded to our text, came to help us if needed. I didn't see a hot tub... and there was no breakfast. I read somewhere there was but it's ok. The place allows family to all rest in one area together, which with kids is great. The river is pretty. Also it has 1 full or queen, 1 bunk bed. And a loft which is high up appropriate for a teen. And a small couch, not big enough to sleep on. So truly this would sleep 4-5. Unless you had a small kid ok to sleep...

'Easy, hassle free check in/out, had a good variety of basics already in there to use, has a tankless water heater and I was worried I'd run out of hot water but we didnt and it was great even with washer, dishwasher and a shower going at same time. I woukd rent from again for sure.'

'The place was accurate on description the only complaint was they had gnats everywhere hard to have conversation we were swatting them away while talking and sleeping couldn’t have coffee without them landing in coffee. Everything else was very welcoming.'

'We enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Gray. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room to relax, we liked the open dining area and comfy chairs and couches. The best part was being in a peaceful area and sitting outside enjoying the weather. It is close to town with several dining options and within distance to explore West Virginia as well as Jackson, we also found some cool places to explore in the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area. '
