Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. Now all my belongings smell like a laundry mat, how fitting.Ideal spot to explore the area and hike.Fish on the river or watch the ships go by.'

The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. 'The grounds are beautiful. The property is rundown, but the managers are slowly renovating and are open to suggestions. The view of the river from the shared back deck was lovely, but our experience was spoiled by an inconsiderate guest chain smoking upwind from us.'
