« No room service between days, only come in to stop the AC and doesn’t empty trash or change towels. »

« The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee was great. That’s all we wanted. Parking was excellent. »

« Clean and neat. Very convenient and close to the highway. My only complaint is that the bathroom is tiny, and the shower was a little janky. The curtain rod was mounted too low and kind of loose, so the shower curtain was partly underfoot in the tub, and the rod stuck way out over the toilet. Other than that, everything was great. »

« This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. »

« Checked in to a fly/bug infested bathroom and a dirty tub. RV is older and shows some signs of wear/mildew but overall was adequate. Owner was quick to come out and fix the bug problem and was responsive to any needs that arose but let’s not over sell this place as it’s basically a run down RV on a back lot property next to a storage shed? »

« Sara is a wonderful host who went above making sure we simply relaxed and enjoyed the camping experience! We were greeted with welcoming treats we enjoyed with coffee. « Entire place was clean, and the sheets/bedding didn’t smell weird as you might expect from a woodsy place. I picked this place because I’m not much of a tent or non-electric/bug-filled cabin type, and this was the perfect amount of rustic for us. The shower water pressure was good too!The owners were helpful and friendly when needed. They live next door. In the welcome book, they included directions to a secluded beach nearby that wasn’t on any GPS map I could find. It was a lovely small beach...

« Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Quiet area. It was perfect for our short weekend stay at the end of February. Short drive to Cross Country Ski Headquarters which is why we came. Recent thaw and freeze caused icy conditions that required attention for safety by both host and us. Flooring needs transition strips to prevent tripping. »
