« The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. The host left a lot of helpful info about shopping, dining, hiking, etc. The weather was not the best and we could not enjoy the lake, but the scenery is beautiful. The only issue we had was though it is "pet friendly" there are a lot of rules that were a little restrictive when it comes to pets. »

« The cabin was as described the owners were so friendly and easy check in it was nice having an on site boat launch and a doc we could leave the boat in the water it was a nice little place for a fun family getaway for the weekend. Can’t wait to come back! »

« The cabin was cute and very clean. Everything you would need. It was great to sit out on the patio and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We also enjoyed being able to sit by the fire. We would definitely stay there again! »

« we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend! »

« This cabin was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. This property is right in town and convenient to quickly get to the shops and attractions. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. »

« Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing. »

« We had such a nice stay. Was great to be able to bring the dogs. The trailer parking was perfect. Shower was good. Overall a very nice stay. One really nice surprise was the sense of community with the other renters. We got to know 3 other groups and spent time with them at the campfire, etc. We even brought one couple along for a boat ride with us. We will very likely be back. Hayward is such a nice community. »
