'The cabin must be brand new and, while compact, feels spacious because of the high ceilings and comfortably stylish decor. We had everything we needed, including a very comfortable mattress. We didn’t have a chance to cook but easily could have as everything needed to prepare and enjoy a meal was on hand. Host was always extremely quick to respond to our messages. Location is super convenient with a grocery store less than 5 minutes drive.'

'Excellent use of space in this sweet little camp. It had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I had also specifically looked for a place with no Wifi, this is hard to come by, but it kept my kids mostly off their phones and actually reading/ spending time together. 'Our group came to Portage to snowmobile and explore the trail system in this area. I chose the Lakehouse cause the pictures were sunny, warm and welcoming. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and comfortable...hot shower were a plus. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. Mary the host was very helpful.'
