Vakantieparken in Groot Karoo

'We had a fantastic stay at De Bergkant in late July. The setting and surrounding view was stunning. We were greeted by Tracey who was manager and head chef. She could not have been more helpful. She provided recommendations on things to do in Prince Albert and places to eat, even made our dinner reservations for us. The rooms and the grounds were clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. Tracey prepared a varied 5 course breakfast each morning that could only be...

'Warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. We loved the granola!'

'Unfortunately the room lacked ablution privacy which was not disclosed'

'Top'

'Aangename omgeving, mooie tuin , kamers zijn een beetje oudbollig maar hebben veel charme.'

'A hidden gem in Prince Albert. My night at the Swartberg Hotel was a highlight. It blends that Karoo charm with nice modern touches. The rooms are comfortable, the gardens and heritage feel are really special, and the staff were warm and genuinely welcoming. Dinner was excellent, local flavours especially the lamb, relaxed atmosphere, all very Karoo. Perfectly placed for exploring the pass, but also a place you just want to slow down and enjoy. I’d happily recommend it to anyone.'

'It's very quiet, very calm and very well appointed. I had a luxurious chalet with a mini kitchen and fast internet. Do bring food with you as there's not a restaurant at the hotel and you'll have to go back into Carnarvon to eat otherwise - where options are limited. Bring cat treats too if you want to be popular with the feline greeters The host is very welcoming and you'll enjoy seeing the ostriches on this working farm '

'Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Nothing to complain about.'

'Did not use the pool. Facilities, Reception etc were tops BUT the breakfast we had was the worst Egg Benedict I had in my life! Dinner was a 7/10'

'Everything I needed. Friendly hostess. Spacious and very clean apartment.'
