« Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return »

« It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay. »

« We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. « Check in was efficient Staff were friendly Rooms were clean and functional. Evening restaurant was a disaster 45 min to get and appetizer and customers were not happy. Food left on service counter and not bought out to tables. Breakfast was much more efficient. May have been a bad evening but no real apologies offered. Average budget stay hotel. »
