'We love a simple no-nonsense place and this was perfect for us. The host is very responsive and was constantly checking in with us on what else we need to be comfortable to stay here. The area is close a lot of nice restaurants so that was a plus. We would love to stay here next time we visit San Diego.'

'This property was overall great! The location was fantastic, really close to everything we wanted to do as well as allowing us to find some fun new spots. From the outside you definitely feel like you're in an alley but once you get into the property it's like a cozy hideaway. Felt safe and comfortable. 'Great place to stay. Been coming to Carlsbad for the last 6-years n this place is walking distance to everything. Only thing I thought was weird is the living gets hot which I don’t understand. Cool breeze coming from ocean. But both rooms have AC units which get really cold. But your in Carlsbad n the weather is great almost of the time. '

'It was a lovely stay, and we liked the place. Very clean, great location. The host was very good at communicating minus one miscommunication at first, but it was very quickly remedied and we had absolutely no other issues after that. It was nice and quiet there and a perfect location to the beach. Just a bit of a walk to a quiet part of the beach that was really neat.
