'We had an amazing stay'

'The hotel is worn down, extremely dirty rooms (we found pubes on our bathroom wall, mold, months worth of dust, if you want I can show you pictures). The staff, apart from the maintenance guy, we're unfriendly and not willing to help. When we asked for an extra blanket we were told they don't provide these. We stayed for four days and we didn't get clean towels nor were the beds made. I did pay for all this. Never again!!! There's more options in the area, choose those!!'

'I was very disappointed that this location was closed due to damages. Instead of reaching out and notifying me they didn’t. They say if my reservation I got to the location just to find they were closed and I was not able to get my rewards back that I used towards the room.'

'In April 2026 this hotel is brand new and pristine. Fantastic place to stay. Worth noting that this one is in Scott, not in Lafayette proper. There is another one in Lafayette proper.'

'Such a cute little gem, right outside of downtown Lafayette. The house was lovely inside and out. The recent renovations and layout of the house makes it feel so much bigger than it is. The vaulted ceilings, and beautiful attention to details in the interior design made this a new place to stay when we visit! '

'Parking was good but breakfast wasn’t and the bedspread had blood on it'

'The on-site customer service was non existent. Our room was disgusting. We couldn’t check in until late the first night, and had been driving for 12 hours so we stayed anyway because with Mardi Gras, other hotels were booked up. We requested room service on morning 2 and came back to the same filthy room, dirty sheets included. We will not be returning. '

'You can't expect luxury at this price point, but if you're just looking for a place to shower and sleep, this'll do the trick. I didn't personally have any major issues with my room, and the staff was kind and surprisingly alert considering how late in the night I arrived!'

'Pool- joke! Half full of green murky water and the grass is grown up all around. The rooms are not well maintained, dingy overall. No breakfast! The sign out front said Smart Stay Inn NOT anything Wyndham would put their name on. 10/10 would NOT recommend!'
