Welcome to Thunder Ridge, an amazing 4 BR, 5-BA vacation cabin with a private studio/game room - sleep up to 18 guests! Awesome great room with stone fireplace, 70” Smart TV, & great flow to the dining area & extremely well-appointed kitchen. We are across from the Deadwood Gulch Casino, the Mickelson Trail, & a short trolley ride to Downtown Deadwood. The studio has a private entrance, a kitchenette, pool table, 70” TV & more. Great location close to the Hills & the excitement of Deadwood.

The cabin is it just 7 miles away from the Terry Peak Ski Area and is just minutes away to world class snowmobile trails in the winter and ATV trails in the summer. The famous Mickelson Trail is across the road, so hop on your bike or slip on your trail shoes and take in the beauty of "The Mick". You are also just a short walk to the Deadwood Gulch Resort and Casino, with restaurants, gaming, and a Deadwood Trolley stop all less than 1000 yards away. If your ideal vacation is full of relaxation or full of get up and go, Thunder Ridge has you covered either way.

Thunder Ridge is easy to get to, but hard to leave, so book your stay today and come enjoy all that Deadwood and the Northern Black Hills has to offer!

~ This driveway has a fairly steep grade (roughly 10%). If you are traveling in winter, 4-wheel drive is required. If you are pulling a trailer of any kind, 4-wheel drive is recommended during any season because of the grade. There is some gravel on this driveway, motorcycle drivers should use caution.
~ This is the Black Hills of South Dakota, so be prepared to see wildlife outside. Make sure all doors or screens are kept shut to keep them outside.
~ We will not override our cancellation policy due to weather. This also includes lack of snow for skiing & snowmobiling, or too much rain causing muddy ATV/UTV trails. We have tried everything in our power to control the weather, but apparently there is not an app for that yet. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance during the checkout process during booking. Travel insurance can also be purchased after booking from 3rd party Insurors - just search for "Vacation Rental Travel Insurance" and you will find several companies offering this type of travel insurance.

Deadwood Trip

This house was in a perfect location for a group of friends to stay, we were able to check out downtown deadwood and Ski at Terry peak. The house was very clean and had everything for our entire stay. The property manager was also very helpful throughout the entire trip and was very quick with responses!

Four couples booked for bonus time around a wedding. So much better than a hotel! Lovely property with the perfect mix of common and private space (each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus). Location was great - walk to Deadwood.

We absolutely loved the house! It was very spacious and had everything we needed! The views were spectacular and we enjoyed the deer that came to visit everyday! Location was great as well with the shuttle coming just down the driveway to take you into Deadwood! We definitely recommend it and would stay there again!

Great house and location! The eight of us were extremely comfortable in this very nice and clean home! Kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for cooking in each evening!
