Villa's in Daylesford

'This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!'

'A fantastic little getaway. Tara Cottage was a perfect space for a quick little overnight stay in Daylesford. The place was immaculate, all the amenities were provided from oversized towels to a coffee machine, lots of choices on the TV and a comfy, warm space. Check in was easy, Prue is a wonderful host and we felt very safe and comfortable at the cottage. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the food and water bowls (plus treats!) were a welcomed amenity had our pup joined us. Really...

'Lovely people who manage the property. We booked a superior cabin expecting a washing machine/ dryer but wasn’t available. The cabin wasn’t what you would call superior but never mind we made the most of it . Beautiful Daylesford.'

'The property was a bit tired, clean and fine. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife so we didn't quite get the full R&R we'd hoped for. I'm guessing the bed is quite old, it was saggy on each side with a raised section in the middle which is typical for old beds, so not easy to get a good night's sleep - and that is in the top couple of things we are after in accommodation. Spa tub was hot, everything easy otherwise, though I did feel like no-one checked the freezer seeing as there...

'I would have preferred an option to sleep on a western style bed due to my age [80 yrs] and not on a traditional floor setting otherwise my stay was a delight. '
