Vind je ideale hotel in Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges

'No wifi available, which was very disappointing. The gas heater turned off regularly (every 15 mins or so) and had to turned on again so the room was not continually cosy and warm. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but that was not sufficient to heat the room for Winter temperatures. There was very little reception for the TV so not all channels were available. The room itself was nice and big and set out well but definitely needed some maintenance, particularly to the front door and...

'It felt like staying at a friend’s house, but with enough space you could escape. We loved the extra touches such as the open fire pits to make s’mores and the pool room.'

'Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.'

'What was on the Internet not the same as experienced, Take "breakfast included" Is fruit juice, cereal, fruit and coffee/tea considered a breakfast? I doubt it. This outlet on market for past two years and it was noticable. Weeds outside and inside very run down. The whole area totally "unloved" I think owners should sell and cut their losses and let someone take over and run correctly as a B&B. 'We liked the bar/common area with fireplaces and had a good dinner at the Virgin Kitchen restaurant. The sauna was not hot enough for me, but I am from Sweden. The place is a bit bigger than I expected, so less cosy than a boutique hotel.'
