Dauphin Island Beach Club

Profitez de la superbe vue depuis le balcon de cette unité située au 3ème étage devant le golfe, ou promenez-vous jusqu’à la plage de sable blanc.
Ce condo a un plan d'étage sur deux avec un hébergement pour 10 personnes. Chaque chambre a une salle de bain complète et il y a un balcon couvert privé avec beaucoup de meubles donnant sur les deux piscines et le golfe. Réveillez-vous au lever du soleil sur le golfe du maître. Détendez-vous dans la baignoire principale du jardin ou utilisez la douche à l’italienne après avoir été à la plage.
Les couchages sont les suivants: un roi dans la chambre principale, une reine dans la deuxième chambre, un lit superposé jumeau sur la reine avec un lit gigogne double dans la troisième chambre et un canapé-lit Queen dans la grande salle. Tous les draps, couvertures, serviettes, etc. sont fournis.
Les équipements inclus sont une laveuse et une sécheuse, des comptoirs en granit dans une cuisine entièrement équipée, y compris de nombreux petits appareils. Vous pouvez utiliser l'un des barbecues au charbon disponibles sur le terrain. Si vous préférez ne pas cuisiner, vous trouverez des restaurants locaux et une boulangerie sur l'île. Plusieurs sont accessibles à pied.
De plus, si vous préférez ne pas aller à la plage ou tard le soir, vous trouverez un lecteur de DVD, une chaîne stéréo, la télévision par câble dans le salon et le lecteur principal, ou utilisez le Wi-Fi haut débit pour vos autres loisirs.

Stayed the last week of July with a group of 8. The condo had everything we needed and the location is perfect, however this was our first time staying in a condo instead of a house, so the walk was a little more intense than what we're use to.

Overall a nice place to stay. We went with our two adult sons and their spouses. Beds were on the firm side and the queen bed frame has wheels that did not appear to lock so it would move some when turning over while sleeping. Seating on the living area accommodates 5 people and there is a nice chaise lounger in the master bedroom. The elevator was very quick and the beach and pool areas were not crowded at all. There were times that our family were the only ones in one of the two pools. There was virtually no traffic when we were out and about on the island. Kitchen is nice and equipped with pots, pans, utensils, a regular coffee pot, toaster, blender, and other small appliances in a cabinet on the back side of the island that you will miss if you do not pay attention to the signage. Things were labeled in the kitchen making it easy to locate. The refrigerator has a bottom freezer with an ice maker and the small spigot on the sink is filtered water. There were two rugs (one at the sliding doors in the living area and one I’d the master bath) that moved easily and create a fall risk. We put these away during our stay. The light switch to the balcony light is on the master bedroom near the sliding door. As with other properties on the island, it is a long walk to get to the beach so we used a wagon and took a cooler with drinks and snacks.

Mini vacation

Everything was great. Only thing was a miss was under the understand that 1 of the rooms had 2 double beds and only had 1 queen bed. But beds were soft. I habe stayed here in different units 3 times now and will continue to stay at the beach club.

Enjoyable time

We felt safe. Property was convenient and easy to locate. Overall a great experience. You may want to evaluate your cleaning staff as we found a pile of sand under the dining table and pieces of dried food along the baseboards in a bedroom. The teens remarked 'at least it was cleaner than the condo at Myrtle Beach last year'.

Needs a very deep clean!

The property is nice! The rooms are spacious for the price and the view is beautiful! I'm super sensitive to mold and the master bath shower is full of it. The bathroom had pee around the toliet, baseboards are filthy. The blankets in the closet weren't clean. The kids room had wrappers of fruit snacks shoved everywhere. The sliding glass door would stick and take awhile to get back on track . The refrigerator works if you have nothing in it! I had to toss my yogurt and cheese I packed from home because it wouldn't cool within the first 15 hours. (We had a few drinks in there and maybe five items) we didn't overload the fridge! This place has potential if someone gave it a very long, deep cleaning.

Great time but things could be improved

My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again! Great location, family friendly, and felt very private. However, the sofa bed was filthy and I had to let the front desk know. It looked like there was blood on the sheets, which is a little scary but hopefully everything else was clean. It was already towards the end of our stay when we realized. The freezer had trouble closing and sometimes the patio door would get stuck along with the handle almost falling off. With a few touch ups it would be absolutely perfect. The positives outweigh the negatives and we’d love to come back!

First time at Dauphin Island

At check-in, we did not realize there were different properties within the same office where we picked up keys. We unloaded and ended up trying to get into someone else's condo. They told us where we needed to go. We had to load back up and go in another gate to the set of condos next door. Condo seemed dated. It was very dusty. A lot of the towels for bathrooms and kitchen looked very "used" and some had stains. Crumbs in the silverware drawer. The doors to the balcony from the living room did not lock and was hard to get them to seal because both sides would move when trying to close them. VCR did not work in the bunk bed room. Pool was very nice. Good view

Great long weekend stay

Kitchen was well-stocked with small appliances, pot and pans, and useful kitchen gadgets. Whole unit clean and comfy. And large! Easy walk to the beach. Information well-noticed and easy to find. Some small maintenance needed which we advised about (sticky doors, etc.) but, overall, well worth it.

Wonderful vacation

Loved the condo! It was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed! There were even puzzles, books, movies! A short walk down the pathway to the beach! Checking in was a little confusing and we saw others having the same issues with the code we were given. It should be clearer the code given was for check in pickup at the Inn. We tried to use it at the condo first and after re reading the directions a few times we figured it out! Lol! We could see others in front of us and behind us doing the same thing! We had no other issues! That being said we had a wonderful time and we were very happy with the condo and it’s location! We hope to return next year!

Dauphin Island is a vibe

We go to the emerald coast a few times a year, but this was our first time to Dauphin Island. This condo was great: clean, classy decor, well-appointed kitchen with all the necessities, and perfect location on the beach. We slept 3 adults and 6 kids comfortably, and I’m not just referring to the bed space: the linens were so soft and the beds were dreamy. The hosts even left us towels to use on the beach. In terms of location: the condo was walking distance to the ice cream shop, local burger joint, and souvenir shops. We had some rainy weather, so the aquarium was perfect and only a short drive away. Loved Ft. Gaines too. The island is low density, very relaxing. The only thing to know is the water wasn’t clear like other places on the coast. More green/brown, but the beaches were clean. Would definitely stay at this condo again if we return to Dauphin Island!
