'THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. 'The house was well-located (near downtown but in a quiet neighborhood), the decor is lovely and pleasant, appliances are modern and in great shape, the living area (kitchen, dining, living - kind of a great room style) is spacious and very comfortable! There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. The linens are plush, clean, and plentiful. When it got too warm, we switched the HVAC to cooling and were very comfortable. The group I travel with is quite interested in returning to this house...

'Stay was overall enjoyable, the house was generally clean, and mostly well supplied. One big concern was not having communication on how to get into the property until the night before and only after I texted, called (could not leave a message), and contacted VRBO customer service. That said, once I got the information checking in was easy. There was only one coffee pod for the Keurig. Toilet roll in the bathroom was nearly empty - and no other rolls in the bathroom. Towels, washcloths, toilet...
