This exclusive 24-hour security-gated community of Capistrano Beach. Beach Road provides privacy and seclusion not commonly associated with beachfront property. This is the perfect place to experience the romance and the energy of the ocean without the crowds.

Right on the beach, this home offers plenty of activities, without even leaving the house! You can relax on the well-furnished deck or on the sand. You can swim, surf, or relax in the ocean right in front of the house. Or if you feel like exploring, you can take a walk or go for a bike ride along the ocean path.

Enjoy a large family barbecue dinner on the deck and watch the sunset and the starlit skies. Bike to Dana Point Harbor, or even read a good book while watching birds dive in the water and dolphins play. All while basking in the sweeping views, soft sounds, and breezes of the magnificent Pacific Ocean.

This 5-bedroom 3 bath nicely furnished home has the great feeling of an open “beach-y” cottage with ocean views from every part of the house.

The spacious great room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the beachfront deck, showcases a large living room area with ample comfortable seating, a fireplace, a large flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable day and night.

A modern, well-equipped kitchen right next to the family room has all you need to satisfy your culinary desires - all you need do is add the food and the camaraderie and you are all set. A dining area looking at the ocean completes this “easy living” space downstairs.

The master bedroom boasts a king bed with an en suite bathroom, walk in shower and his and her sinks. Guest room 1 has large open panel windows overlooking the ocean with an en suite bathrooms and a queen bed. Guest Rooms 2 and 3 have queen size beds, while guest room 4 is equipped with a twin bunk bed set as well as a third twin bed. All bed and bathrooms are furnished with premier linens for your ultimate comfort.

There is a washer and dryer for your use and there are non-covered designated parking spaces that can accommodate 4 standard cars to make it easy to get settled in. We know that you will create precious memories of your seaside vacation in this private, seaside retreat.

THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY!

The large well-furnished ocean front deck is great for enjoying sweeping ocean views, sunsets, starlit skies, and lots of ocean wildlife - birds, whales, dolphins too - making it an exquisite seaside experience for everyone.

It is just a short ride to great restaurants in Dana Point and San Clemente as it is between these two seaside communities. It is 30 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes to the train station.

Learning experiences abound at nearby San Juan Capistrano Mission or Dana Point Harbor Ocean Institute. Proximity to famous theme parks such as Disneyland, Knottsberry Farms, SeaWorld and The San Diego Zoo make it easy to create a memorable day’s adventure.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:

Beach Road is a gated private road with 24 hour patrol security. Access to the road is strictly controlled by Guard Gate.

** please note we are strictly limited to four parking places directly in back of home. Four vehicles is the maximum allowed at the house at any one time.



Beach in front of house is considered a “wet / dry beach”meaning during low to medium low tide there is some Beach. During a high tide there is no beach , water is up to deck / seawall.

No smoking on the property - NO EXCEPTIONS (this includes inside and outside the property).

Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a zero tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting .

*This property is NOT considered a Luxury property and is a comfortable beach front location priced accordingly. Beach Front properties face harsh conditions daily from the salt air and sand, please make sure you are comfortable with this prior to booking.

The house was great - very homey and comfortable. Great lay out and can't be the view. My girlfriends and I like to cook on these weekends and the house was properly stocked with kitchen utensils etc. We had a little issue trying to get into the front door (user error) and the owner was over in 10 minutes to help. Super friendly. I think the house is a great value and would recommend!

Incredibly appointed kitchen for all kinds of food prep. You do need provide all ur own seasonings, oils, vinegars etc. great to have a keurig. The broken ice machine was a drag so I’d get on that repair! But my goodness the view and proximity to water, the common spaces to hang out, lots of room for everyone easily. Patrick was a great communicator and responsive to our ice needs- a bag of ice showed up right away. Awesome visit for my son’s wedding. Our only true bugaboo was the unpleasant attitude of most of the gate guards. They made it more difficult than it needed to be.

Great Family Getaway

Lovely home right on Capistrano Beach - plenty of room for all 10 of us. Great back porch where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean, or walk down the steps off the porch right onto the beach. Awesome view from the family room and kitchen, and an even better view from the second floor master bedroom. House supplies are well stocked. Also, lots of beach supplies - umbrellas, boogie boards, buckets, plastic shovels. The McNultys are awesome and respond right away to any questions or issues.

A thumbs up on this cozy place

Capistrano is a special place. This home is perfect to enjoy those things that make it special. Space and accommodation for cooking, game night, melting into a good movie etc. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. The host is awesome. The community is safe and quiet. We’ve been visiting Capistrano for decades and this beach cottage was perfect. Its seaside so there are some rough edges about the house. This is true of any house we’ve stayed in on the beach. All in all, we give it a strong thumbs up. We would absolutely reserve again. A couple of tips:- multiple grocery stores, and even Costco are 5 mins away and easy to get to.- Dana Point harbor has multiple shops, restaurants etc. San Clemente pier is also a solid visit. Both are mins away. - San Clement Farmers market is on Sundays. Cafe Mimosas for breakfast is a must. Also lots of shops and restaurants on Avenida Del Mar. - A visit up the PCH to Laguna is a great way to spend a day. If you find yourself there the Lost Pier Cafe has great food. Their lobster roll is superb.

This property is just beautiful and was the perfect place to spend some important time with an ailing loved one. We enjoyed watching the tide move in and out, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water, listening to the waves crash and exploring the beach. Just overall peaceful and serene. We checked in and had everything we needed to not have to leave until checkout time.Would book again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Views

Gorgeous Views of the ocean right from your bedroom window. A gracious host who communicates with you. Clean property, sand toys for the kids to play on the beach when the tide relaxes. A wonderful stay for all who want to stay on the beach. This was our second time at the home since their beautiful remodel. Definitely recommend! Thank you Patrick!

Just stayed here with my two siblings. We are very familiar with the area. This place is great. It’s on a safe street in a gated community. They recently made some updates so it’s nicer than the current pictures. It’s still a mix of older beach house, but with new stuff. Appliances, Furniture, floors, and bathroom counters are all new. Kitchen cabinets need a little help, but clean. The house is super clean and very well stocked. Don’t worry about needing any cooking utensils, pot or pan…..they have it. They really thought of everything. The deck is my favorite spot in the house. We spent most of our time out there. Tv is huge and works well. The host is very responsive and nice. We lost electricity the first day and his brother showed up within fifteen minutes to give us an update and make sure we were good. The whole street lost power. Costco is five minutes away. I would 100% stay here again. You will not go wrong by picking this gem.
