We loved everything about it!

The whole family had a great stay. The views are amazing, the pool was fabulous, and the fact that you can just pop in and snorkel on property is outstanding. The cleaning cleaning was awesome and the management in general is super helpful. We know the building is super safe because we rode out hurricane Beryl and everything was handled so professionally. They closed the hurricane shutters for us and brought in the patio furniture, and got the power back on as soon as they could. It was perfect to have everything we needed in the kitchen for meals on any day. Thank you so much for having us and we will definitely be back. ❤️😀

Great vacation

Condo was great. Comfortable furniture and everything was clean and neat. We visit Cozumel and El Contil every year and this is our first stay on a higher floor. View was great and the condo was extremely quiet. No street noise. Looking forward to May 2025.

The location is great. We’ve stayed here on four occasions since 2007. The last time in 2016. The building is showing some signs of aging, but is overall in good condition. The unit needs a good makeover particularly the old worn out furniture that is very uncomfortable and dirty. Lighting in the kitchen is poor, and the Directv was constantly having connectivity issues. The hot tub(which we didn’t use)neede some cleaning to remove hard stains by the jets.

Great location, easy walking distance to great restaurants. Grocery store right across the street. Snorkeling was good, nice pool. Condo was clean with everything we needed. Property managers were very responsive the one time we needed something. Only suggestion would be either purchase a new hair dryer or remove it from listing. Will stay here again!

Beautiful and Super Clean

We had a great stay. I want to recognize how clean the condo was. The girl who came in did a fantastic job. The kitchen was fully equipped for everything we needed. Just 2 notes....the light in the ceiling fan in the back bedroom didn't work...maybe needs a new light bulb. Also, there was only 1 blow dryer ..in the back bedroom...that doesn't work. Not a big deal for us since my sister brought one and we shared that one. Overall we had a great experience and would stay here again. Thanks!!

Spur of the moment anniversary get away

The condo didn’t disappoint! Very clean. The sunsets from the balcony just beautiful. We spent most our time over the 3day we stayed on the balcony watching the cruise ships and looking at the blue clear water. I hope to be able to rent this condo again and again. We really Enjoy Cozumel.

Perfect condo for 4!

Great views! Comfortable beds. Very clean, well maintained. Great location, near grocery stores walking distance to many restaurants. Nice pool, snorkeling. Bring shampoo as they didn't provide much. The other thing we wished we brought was a blue tooth speaker.

Diving in Paradise

We love staying at El Cantil! It is walking distance to many great restaurants and dive boats can pick you up at the property. Two grocery stores right across the street make it easy to keep the kitchen stocked. We will continue to stay here again and again. Eve with Five Star Property Management was always available to answer any questions and the staff were freindly and helpful.

Fabulous waterfront condo!

Unobstructed ocean views, lovely sunsets, spacious and great location! Close to everything without being in the middle of the city center, this place was a great choice for us. We could walk to restaurants and the grocery store in minutes. The building staff is friendly, very helpful and attentive. Eve was responsive and thorough and always available to answer questions. Overall wonderful and relaxing stay for us.

Another wonderful week at El Cantil

This was our second summer to stay at El Cantil and we are already planning our next trip back. This unit is on the 7th floor and the unit we stayed in last summer was on the ground floor. Both units have their purks but I think I prefer being up high. Toward the end of our stay I realized that I had only been inside to sleep or cook. We literally sat on the balcony and watched all the boat action from dawn until dusk. Bring a good pair of binoculars! Using the elevator to get up and down from the unit was not an issue. I was worried that it would be a hassle after staying on the ground floor last year but it was no big deal. The unit was very clean and had all that we needed. Housekeeping was attentive as well as Eve the property manager. I felt safe walking to the grocery store by myself to get any groceries we needed throughout the week. Don’t miss the pastries at the grocery store bakery! Overall, another great stay at El Cantil!

Loved this place!

We loved how clean everything was, the communication with the property manager was great, and we loved waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean everyday. Also, the central air conditioning was amazing. We would totally stay here again.

The property is very spacious and has an amazing view. The pool area is well taken care of and has a lot of seating area. Be careful if parking in underground garage as the space is extremely tight and made for miniature cars. The condo could use a washing machine though,

Best place I have ever stayed in Cozumel

El Cantil was AMAZING! Not only were they responsive before and during my stay, but the place was very clean, the A/C worked perfectly, and the views are beautiful. The balcony is very large with plenty of seating space, a 2 person hot tub, and the perfect spot to watch the sun set across the ocean in the evenings. The room itself is spacious, the photos are accurate, and this is seriously the cleanest and most well-managed property I've ever stayed at in Cozumel (and I've stayed at many, many spots in Coz - fyi: avoid Occidental Resort at ALL costs!). The huge pool is perfect for decompressing after a day of diving! Right across the street are 2 easily accessible large grocery stores. And since this condo is located right off the main road, it's very easy (and cheap!) to hail a taxi and go anywhere... or to take a nice stroll into town. I will for sure be booking at El Cantil again for my next Coz trip!

Perfect Sunsets!

El Cantil will be our go to spot for all of our Cozumel trips from now on. You can't beat the location. Close enough to town you can walk, across the street from 2 grocery stores and the dive boat picks you up right there. The evening sunset social in the pool was fun and you get to meet your neighbors.

We love El Cantil

4th time staying in this complex. Location is fantastic, easy stroll to eating and shopping and the ferry to Playa. Our dive company picks us up right behind El Cantil. Couldn't be more convenient. Also, great complex with nice pools and sunset views!
