'Great location on the river, good food and wonderful views. The rooms themselves reminded me of a motel setup. Once inside it was clean and spacious, however we noticed a kitchen setup which upon inspection did not function. The oven and furnace seemed to have been disconnected from power and buttons were removed. Of course, this was no problem as the inn offers amazing food, so why would you cook your own?'

Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. 'The family room was large with air conditioning, very comfortable mattresses and bedding, plenty of good quality towels, shower gel and a body moisturiser in the bathroom and complimentary bottles of drinking water, tea and coffee (machine). The staff could not have been more helpful with our questions and requests. We were allowed to check in earlier (£20 fee). Their pizzas were really good. 'Beautiful property and views. Lovely room and great service with a setting to die for. It was such a hot weekend so unfortunately there were just fans in the rooms, no air con, which was a shame but understandable for the age of the property and the garden was a bit plagued with wasps which the staff did their best to keep at bay as we ate a beautiful meal outside and had breakfast outside the next day which was delicious. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds.'
