"For us the RIU is always a safe choice, also this time. On the property it is very nice. All the restaurants, the kindness of the staff is good. I think that it is a typical Asian thing that when they think you're done eating they rush your plate away. Same was in Indonesia and Thailand...and I still not get used to it. Entertainment during the day and evening, nothing to get bored. Once you leave that area, for example you leave to go to the beach, you are surrounded by many people who all want to sell you something. On the front side it is the same. Tuktuk drivers who want to drive you around. You walk to the bank and some local will pop up as your guide. I make it clear that I am willing to listen and talk but that I don't pay anybody. Most of them will walk away."
