'Verbleven in het hotel tijdens een reis door Ierland. Het hotel bevind zich aan de rand van de stad. Vanaf het station is het een behoorlijk eind lopen, gezien ik geen beschikking had over een auto. De kamer was ruim en lekker stil. Het ontbijt was verder prima, met een uitstekende selectie aan eten. '

'Homely, comfortable if a tad dated. My room had been newly renovated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the rain shower had weak pressure. There was a bit of noise from children running around the corridors and playing at the rear of the hotel but it was otherwise peaceful and comfortable. The staff, without exception, were super friendly and helpful. '

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and the views were phenomenal. There were not a lot of dining options but the ones there were good! A quaint area worth visiting!'

'This was a lovely hotel. We stayed in a manor house room and it was very spacious with a beautiful view. The breakfast was so nice and we had dinner there one night and everything was perfect. The hotel is in a good location close to town and the train station which we used. The staff in the restaurant as well as the check in area could not have been nicer. We are very happy to recommend this hotel. '

"The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "
