'Accommodatie staat tussen woonhuizen en industrie waardoor je bij binnenkomst weinig verwacht maar bij binnenkomst is het verrassend aardig. De voorzieningen zijn vrij basaal waardoor de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding prima is. Kamer niet groot maar afdoende. Hetzelfde geldt voor de doucheruimte. Accommodatie is het meest geschikt voor wat jongere gasten. Er heerst een wat hippie-achtige sfeer. Geschikt voor surfers of jongeren die een wereldreis maken. Minder geschikt voor ouderen die luxe zoeken.'

'Het Hostel is schoon en prima voor wat je ervoor betaald. Als je vroeg wilt gaan slapen zou ik oordoppen meenemen het ligt namelijk tegenover de enige clubs in het stadje en dat hoor je. '

'My stay at this place was very good, perfect for the price. Jonathan and Itzah's service was excellent, they are very friendly. The place is very clean and in a good location, close to everything. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean, and I highly recommend it.'

'I cannot recommend Ginger Banana enough! The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here.'

'What I liked most about this hostal is that it attracts all sorts of friendly people from around thw world and that thye hodt an event pretty much each day, keeping you engaged in the community. The staff are super friendly and even join on the daily events. The shared dormitories have slightly uncomfortable beds, but all of the facilites you need are there (locker, shower, and the like.
