'Wij verbleven 1 week in het huisje en het was fantastisch. Er zijn veel plekjes in de tuin om te zitten. Zo konden we op ieder moment van de dag tot zonsondergang genieten van de zon en schaduwplekjes. In huis was ook alles aanwezig wat het verblijf perfect maakte. We hebben enorm genoten!'

'Zeer mooie locatie, prachtig uitzicht. Zodra je de eerste trap af bent gelopen en de deur naar de tuin en het huis achter je dicht doet is het vakantie en heel rustig. We hebben zelfs dolfijnen gezien!'

'The first contact was a bit swiftly but actually that was fine. Everything was there and everything was nice at Javiers place. The view from the balcony was beyond marvellous, the house was always cool. It was clean and spacious. Location of the house in a small community of houses was simply excellent. Loved the pool. 'Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea. 'What a remarkable villa. It is a family home from the 19th century that exudes history. A very pleasant and energetic place. The garden completes the stay. Incredibly beautiful with very old trees that create a microclimate with a cool temperature. Definitely recommended!'
