The house was great for our little family get a way and close enough to the beach . The only issue we found is the hot water is backwards for showers so we thought there wasn’t hot water . So make a mental note when staying there . But the property is great and in a great location .

Lovely relaxing beach stay

We are family of adults, mostly 50 and we all really enjoyed this stay. The property is well maintained in a nice new neighborhood. Several sitting areas both indoor and out. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious and bedrooms equipped with a tv. Beds were comfy. The kitchen was exactly what we needed. A nice surprise was the outdoor grill which we ended up using to cook out. Pool, basketball court, and boardwalk were all walking distance. AC was nice and cold. We will definitely stay here again. Note: 1 - we did have a small issue with the cable/satellite not being connected. After a few attempts I called and a ticket was quickly put in to take care of the issue. We ended up cancelling the call so not sure if that issue was resolved. 2 - the mini blinds in the downstairs room were broken. This was a non-issue for us, but something worth mentioning. 3- some chairs in the upstairs patio eating area were unusable. Not a huge deal just a minor inconvenience. 4- this area is not fenced in so if you have small ones you need to keep an eye on them. However, if you have older kids/teenagers this place is great.

Terrible. Roaches, termites, dirty and unkept, and had a smell resembling dog pee.

The house has potential to be a wonderful VRBO. But this place was filthy. The walls are dirty and unidentified brown substances on the light switches. Poop on the walls in the bathroom. Roaches, the bad kind, and termites. I even had termites crawling on my 8-year-old when she was trying to eat dinner. It was horrid. There was dried ketchup on the table from the previous guests. This place clearly wasn't clean. The glasses in the cabinet still had greasy fingerprints on them. Disgusting. The patio, which has great potential to be a nice outdoor dining area, had furniture that was completely torn apart. It needs to be thrown in the trash. Unsafe. For the first hour of hour stay, I walked around with rubber gloves and my Clorox wipes. I asked for a refund on the cleaning fee and never got a response. We will never stay here again. Also, the photos on VRBO do not represent the actual home.

Spring Break 2025

We brought my mother, my 17 year old daughter, and 2 of her 17 year old friends to port a for a long weekend. We really enjoy the easy access to the beach and the very quiet neighborhood. This is our second stay in this home- we stayed here for Spring Break 2024 because we enjoy the house so much. The set up is perfect. My elderly mother, husband, and I stay upstairs while my daughter and her friends stay in the downstairs bedroom. We all area able to have our spaces. There are some cosmetic fixes that would make the house more appealing- like fixing the broken blinds and touch up paint on some of the doors. But overall, we love the home and will reserve again for a weekend of Spring Break in 2026!

Exactly as promised

Great location and proximity to the beach. We had a great time but ran into a few maintenance issues. We reported to the 24 hour service contact that a door handle in the master bedroom had come off and that the propane tanks were empty at the beginning of our stay and no one ever came to service those issues. On our last night of the stay the upstairs AC went out causing temperatures to rise to 80 degrees but again the reported ticket went unresolved. The house is well-equipped with a kitchen and beach toys. We rented golf carts from Kooks carts and they were brought right to the house. The house is right around the corner from the pool and a short walk. Great house but any customer service requests went unanswered with no follow up.

Comfortable home Amazing location

Loved the location of this home. It was so close to the beach and the pool and we walked to both. Make sure you have a beach wagon to easily haul your stuff for a day of fun at the beach. Plenty of room for 3 families to share with home able to handle a total of 6 adults and 1 child. Kitchen is spacious and great for cooking meals. The dishwasher is wonderful to have and quietly cleans while you relax. Fridge is fairly new and keeps items cold. Breakfast nook is perfect to gather as is dining area off living room. Beds are really comfy with only one person not completely happy with queen bed being “too soft”, but it was only mentioned once. Great to have 3 full baths with plenty of hot water for everyone. A/c is cold and works great keeping the home at a perfect temp for comfort. Amenities that we did not expect were beach equipment: boogie boards, sand buckets and toys for the kids and beach towels. A real perk is the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand before coming indoors. We did have a few things that needed to be addressed for safety reasons like a battery failing in the smoke detector resulting in a constant beeping when we first arrived. There were loose boards on the outside backstairs landing that were quite dangerous until repaired. These things were promptly fixed by bill the maintenance man who was friendly and courteous and very competent. He even repaired the knob on one of the master bedroom doors. Great family stay

The house was perfect size for our family of six. Plenty of towels and linens for us to use. Easy walk to the beach and pool! The washer/dryer was an added bonus for our wet and stinky clothes before packing up!

Thanksgiving by the Shore

Great location! Photo of the house needs updating it has houses built all around it. The place Fit all 9 really well. Only issue we had was the people before us left a terrible fish smell in the dishwasher, carpets really needed to be cleaned but besides that it was a great place to stay. The host communicated well with us throughout our stay! Would still come back overall best part was just a short walk to the beach like we had hoped for.

I would not stay in this house again

This property is in a great location but we were so disappointed with our stay. We had a cleanliness issue that made one of the beds completely unusable for the duration of our stay. We were never able to get this issue resolved and it completely changed the sleeping arrangements we had made. We also planned on cooking but were missing several items I would expect in any standard kitchen. The kitchen utensils were barely enough for our family to use, we ended up having to wash them after every meal and use plastic silverware. Everything was mismatched. There wasn’t even basic salt and pepper. The setup of the kitchen made it difficult to prepare meals like we planned. We have stayed in other homes at the beach and they had everything stocked that we needed to be able to cook, which meant all we had to bring was the food. If you stay in this house, plan to eat out or bring your own cookware, silverware, can openers and everything you need to cook. The location was nice and the proximity to the beach was great, but we would not stay in this house again. We definitely will not be using Vacasa either. The customer service was dismissive and never resolved the issues we discussed.

Very Nice House

The house was very good with a well equipped kitchen although we did contribute a potato masher. The description about how close to the beach it is was misleading. It is not a 2 minute walk, it was more like a 5-10 minute walk. 2 minutes to the boardwalk not to the beach. Also it really only sleeps 9 in a bed, 10 would have to use the couch. Not enough mugs for coffee and the temperature was difficult to control. Washer and dryer were wonderful and the beds were comfortable, but I would like to have had a dust mop.. It would have been nice to be able to watch a tv program and the news. Seating was good and we enjoyed the table for dinning and playing cards. Overall a good stay.

Had a great time

The property was good, great location from the beach, and very spacious. The only drawback, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the pullout bed had dirty linen and had Cheetos on top, and had a few uninvited guest (roaches).

Great house

The house was nice and clean. It's well set up for a group stay. We enjoyed our week-long stay. The only downside was the house being built right next door; lots of hammering all day. The grill outside should be replaced- we made it work, but it's falling apart. Thanks!

Great Stay!

We had a great time celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday! Place was super clean when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and perfect size for our family. Loved the prívate beach access and community pool! Check in / check out process was super easy! We will definitely stay here again! 😊

Very nice and clean place for my family.

This house was equipped with all our needs and besides supplying the food we ate, I only needed/wanted to rent a golf cart. We will be coming back again and only hope to get the same location each time!
