Quiet, Big, Bright and Beautiful! Perfect Beach House for Family and Friends

Six bedrooms, four full baths, three king beds, two queens, six twins

Built in 2011 and designed with plenty of room to unwind.

The Main Level:

-Enormous, open concept living, dining and kitchen.

-Hardwoods and lots of natural light deliver casual elegance.

-Two master suites, with king beds and private baths.

- Large secondary bedroom, perfect for the kids.

-Expansive dining room will seat 28 (seating for 16 provided)

-Fully equipped kitchen, with granite and stainless steel.

-Living area with comfortable seating and a huge flat screen TV.

The Lower Level: (Entry to the lower level is from ground level and you access the upstairs main level from the stairs outside.)

-Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a king.

-Large bath/shower with grab bars and room to maneuver wheelchair.

-Kitchenette with microwave and mini convection oven.

-Open concept living and dining with 50 inch flat screen TV.

Each level of the house has its own full sized washer and dryer.

Three beautiful outdoor spaces:

-The front porch for sunsets and bird watching over the pond.

-The back porch for a view of the gulf and a constant breeze.

-The lower level has a huge covered patio with picnic tables.

-Two charcoal park grills await steaks and the catch of the day at the back porch

We’ve stayed here a few times over the years, and have always enjoyed it. There’s lots of bedrooms, beds, and space to gather, play games and hang out. The neighbors are all close by, but so is the beach, just a block to the ramp to the beach. Since the house is not close to a hotel or condos, it is usually easy to get a nice spot to put up a tent/shade on the beach, even if you don’t get up early on holidays (eg Easter weekend) to save a place. It is basically a one story 4 bedroom house on the second floor, with a separate 2 bedroom house on the ground floor. They also include some nice beach goodies in the garage for guests to use, and lots of board games.

Having a large family and needing several bedrooms can make finding a place to stay difficult. This property has everything we needed. This stay makes our third and hopefully there will be many more. Tonya is fantastic and quick to take care of any issues. Definitely reccommend!!

This house was just the right size for our family, 9 adults and 6 kids age 4-14, with 6 bedrooms and the right configuration of beds. The downstairs apartment with 2 BR allowed a separate kitchen for one DIL with food allergies. The main house with 4 BR is all on one level and was spacious enough for the kids to play. There was enough space in the driveway and garage for 5 cars. The grills worked well. It is a short walk to the boardwalk and beach and we didn’t need to rent carts. The house is very close to one of the neighborhood pools, which the kids enjoyed. The neighborhood is quiet, looks great, and is well maintained. Everyone is friendly. Tonya was quick to reply to questions. We would definitely come back to this house!

Amazing, as always!

This was our 2nd year to stay here. We absolutely love it. The house is always clean, easy to access, close to the beach, and very roomy for big groups (there are 17 of us) This is our 4th year renting from Tonya, as she has other properties on the island, everything is always perfect. She is a great host. Thanks again for another great Port A Vaca! We can’t wait to be back next year!

The floor plan, accommodations and provisions were all great! Very nice neighborhood, close to the beach and quiet. There were a few issues outside of the owners Control but she was prompt in addressing the issues that could be resolved during our stay.

10 days in “near” paradise!

Best house layout EVER! Downstairs private 2 bedroom with kitchenette. Upstairs 4 large comfy bedrooms. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Very spacious for our “come and go” group of 19 family and friends (plus 2 dogs). The full size fridge upstairs and down made for a perfect set up for bringing all our stuff to cook homemade meals every night! Kitchen was fully stocked! Washer/dryers upstairs and down also made for the perfect come and go bedding changes between our groups of guests! Location was perfect with easy access to beach!The only (and a major) downside was the AC wasn’t working when we arrived. It was a steamy 80. The host was amazing and worked with me, an AC company and some others to install 6 window AC units and had the AC company there EVERY DAY trying to make us as comfortable as possible! She was very responsive, had additional fans delivered. When we cooked upstairs in the kitchen it had been as hot as 85. Luckily with the addition of the window units and fans we stayed at a nice 72 for the last 5 days. She was very apologetic and I really felt like she made the best out of a poorly timed Refrigerant Leak!

Family Vacay 2024

We love this place! This is our second time and it never disappoints. We have a total of 19 people including adults and kids. The layout is perfect for us. We loved the games and the proximity to the beach is perfect. Thank you for having us! We can’t wait for next year.

Lots of room

Roomy home! Neighborhood was nice, but every home was very close to the others. Couldn’t hear or see the ocean. Due to lots of recent rains and the ponds throughout the neighborhood, the mosquitoes were horrible. Got attacked each time we tried to get to the car, rinse off sand, or walk to the beach (through the neighborhood and over the boardwalk). The city sprayed a few times and it helped briefly, but they were back soon. Lots of small issues with the home, but owner was caring and very responsive. Took care of what she could immediately. We were disappointed at the amount of trash and tar on the beach. Seems like if you have to pay to park, the city ought to be working on keeping it clean. If you don’t mind being in a crowded neighborhood, with a good hike to the ocean or a short commute if you buy a parking pass, then this place could work well for you. We had a group of 15 and it was comfortable for our group.

A Great Stay

We loved our stay. It was clean, easily accessible, and had all the comforts of home. However, the two ladders leading up to the top area caused us a lot of problems. The ladders are straight up and down and affixed to the wall. Little boys and apparently girls too love to climb. We had an 8-year-old autistic boy, a 2-year-old boy with a prostetic leg, and two girls 8 and 9. We spent a lot of time telling them to get down and worrying about them. I wouldn't recommend taking children under 10 or children with special needs. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Family Vaca

Location was excellent- short walks to beach and pool. Bunk room great for youngsters and having pack in plays on site was convenient since we didn’t have to pack one. Fully equipped kitchen. Lots of table games and beach equipment. Pool was clean. Two kitchens were great!! My only suggestion is to bring plenty of bug spray- mosquitos were very aggressive everywhere but beach. We plan on returning soon!

Perfect!!

Our family visits Port Aransas every July! It’s something we all look forward to together. We have been renting from Tonya since 2021, and she never disappoints. This is our first year in this house, previously we have stayed on Anchor Drive. While we adore the house on Anchor Drive, this house was absolutely perfect. It was clean, has PLENTY of room for all of us. Beds were comfortable, love all the games and beach toys at the house. We had the best time, and will definitely be renting this house again. I can’t say enough good things about Tonya. When we saw she owned this house as well, we jumped right on it. Thank you again for another wonderful vacation in our favorite place in Texas♥️
