Flats in Coral Coast

'Kamer zag er ruim en schoon uit. Hoewel in eerdere recenties naar voren kwam dat men last had van bedwantsen, hebben wij hier in kamer 24 geen last van gehad. Avondeten kunnen we niet over oordelen, aangezien we buiten de deur hebben gegeten. Ontbijt was lekker, maar wel wat chaotisch. Resort was aan de rustige kant, misschien vanwege eerdere negatieve recensies? '

'We decided to check out Likuri Island on our first trip to Fiji. We only planned on one night, and were very glad it wasn’t longer. The place isn’t the most convenient to access, requiring a jetty (not included in the cost of stay). Once you’re there, be prepared, it’s pretty rustic. It’s got basics for food and drinks. 'The hotel was really nice! The staff was amazing! They came sit at your table and speak with you, and they sang for us! They were really helpfull and nice. We really liked the scenery and the quiteness of the location. However, if you would want to leave the hotel you have to walk a 4km road that is hilly, or you can be dropped off by the hotel at the road for a fee. '

'The 4 nights my wife and I spent at the Shangri-La Fijian at the end of August were very relaxing and enjoyable. The entire staff upheld the super-friendly reputation of the Fijian culture. 'Large pool, really attractive, well attended grounds. Secluded & remote with a lovely sandy beach directly in front. Nice & quiet, but very thin walls between units so you could hear every word your neighbours said. Culture night feast & kava celebration were great. Unfortunately other meals were a bit disappointing. Long way from Nadi, but convenient distance to Suva. Excellent beach, excellent snorkelling.'

'Like: Beach, close to restaurants and town. Could do better: breakfast was basic, room was basic although called executive. Photos in the ad did not reflect actual. Construction work on the site was noisy. Certainly would not be our first choice.'
