« What a great cottage!Love the location right near Eagle River and the rest of the Keweenaw. Very well-appointed, having everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highlights include the backyard creek, thimbleberry bushes throughout the property, split-level bedrooms, and an open living space (living, dining, and kitchen). « Really cool property on the shores of Keewanaw Bay. The cabins were well stocked and clean, plenty of firewood, and you can walk into the lake. Bob was super nice. We had a big group and they were able to work with us on renting multiple cabins. »

« For our two large families, this is the best place to stay. We’ve rented this property 7 or 8 years in a row, in the summer, for about a week at a time. Staci and Dieter are great hosts and we hope we can keep our summer streak alive! »

« What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer! »

The house actually had more supplies than we expected, including some things that came in handy atving around the mountain like the walky talkies.The bed we slept in was very comfortable and cozy. Although there is no ac, it was not needed as the ceiling fans, and the area temps made for a nice cool sleep.The area feels both secluded and accessible.
