'It's ok for a nights stay, it was probably a gem in the 50's. They have attempted a remodel, but it is OLD OLD OLD'

'I can't say enough for how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, housekeeping offered daily. Pool was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast offered with clean and well tended dining area. This motel reminded me of places I stayed as a kid, very nostalgic. These folks offer true hospitality.'

'A little out of the way as really nothing in the area you could walk to. Stores, restaurants, etc a short drive away. We were conveniently placed at the back of the hotel near an exit as we were with our dog, so maybe other areas of the hotel seem brighter. A decent stopover with an included breakfast but nothing special.'

No iron or blow dryer in room- they had an iron available for us in office. Small area, but worked. Did not have time to do beach- we were at Copperstown all day for grandson. 'The Inn provides comfortable rooms and both indoor and outdoor places to relax. Relatively steep stairs are required to access the rooms. Walking distance for numerous Cooperstown attractions, restaurants, and shops.'

'Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race.'

'The Grand Colonial is a great choice for a temporary home in the Herkimer area. So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. Mike was our host, and he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We give it our highest recommendation.'
