'Christine came over soon after we got in the house & made sure we had everything we needed. She was also a wealth of information about things to do locally including eating at Peppers pub!!!The house was great for us. Plenty of room good appliances & comfortable beds. Very quiet location & not far from Ennis & other cities of interest. This is a great stay for a couple of days.'

'My spouse and I stayed in Lodge #1 for 5 nights. We found our rental was just as described with things in good working order. We had a basket of fruits and snacks which was a nice touch but unfortunately, it attracted gnats and flies. We had plenty of blankets, towels and kitchen items - though we would suggest adding a fly swatter to the rental. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a picnic table on the patio of our unit and we did see a grill in a common area but we did not...

'Verry nice place to stay, Avril and Michael are verry kind and try to help with everything you need, the accomodation was clean, If you like the rich Nature of Ireland, this would be the perfect place to stay! I would certainly return the next time I visit Ireland! '

'My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. 'This was a gathering from the us and we met at Connie wonderful home.From the original house to the horses in the yard we couldn't have been happier. Connie met us at the house and explained all the workings. She anticipated what we would need and had it all there. A welcome basket, activities for the kids and all the hot water and towels we could use. There was ample space for us to gather and to be seperated. Thank you Connie for making our stay so enjoyable.'

'It was fine. Beds were nice, and the decor was pleasant. WiFi didn’t work, and there is construction going on in the attached house. The email communication was unmonitored. Not the same value as other similar places where we’ve stayed. '

'Great base for various day trips and nearby amenities '

'I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional.
