'We get an annual car service in Maroochydore, coming down the night before to be first off the blocks as we have a 2.5 hour drive back afterwards. We have stayed at Nightcap at Northern Grounds previously and again on Monday evening. We found the renovated rooms very comfortable, clean, well stocked with tea and coffee making provisions. 'Hilltop Hideaway is an excellent place to stay. Beautiful view over the back of the property. Very clean. The mattress on bed is just right for my husband and myself. The host and hostess are warm and friendly. Excellent breakfast. '

'Clean new rooms, helpful staff members, buffet breakfast with a fairly good selection of foods, great coffee machines for breakfast coffees. Also the pancake machine was really fun! Laundry onsite for washing was handy, $2 for a wash and $2 for a dry. Just need to get some detergents. Very nice and relaxed stay, would stay here again no issues! Highly recommended'

'Sadly as a new hotel they are still learning, staff were fabulous, no fault with any of them, the amenities were definitely not to our liking, Glass doors on both shower & toilet was a bit overwhelming for an older couple, there was no privacy, the younger generation might have a bit of fun with it. The rooftop bar, fantastic, but, but there should an area the hotel guests use exclusively, at least till a certain time, as I said it's very new & they will probably improve with time.'

'We had to change from a better room and downgraded ourselves to a smaller room as the previous was in a horrible condition. Hotel staff was happy to change us but did not refund for any downgrade. Can i please request for a refund of the downgrad'

'The room was beautiful and clean, Tess the manager was so friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the whole room was set out perfectly. We had the pool right outside of our room too.'

'I’d like to start by saying the staff are great! This is the reason I’ve given any stars and its location to the beach (I didn’t go but it was close and great view). Now for the actual room, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere. This place is a $99 Motel with a view and close proximity to the beach. It has no business charging anymore than that let alone the $190 I paid for my ocean view room! The room was disgusting, blood on the bathroom door jam, hairs on the bathroom wall (not mine),...
