'Looked kind of deserted and outdated'

'It was a really nice hotel! Located at the Marina you’re at all the best places within a 10 minute walk. Close to some great restaurants and shops & right at the reef docks. Room wasn’t that well cleaned upon arrival but it was definitely made up for the next day! The man who helped with the luggage is also a living legend!'

'Mooie omgeving, rust, huizen mooi gebouwd, kleinschalig. Maar er schort wel het 1 en ander: schimmel in badkamer, niet heel schoon (bijv. bij kozijnen), meerdere apparaten kapot (oven, afstandsbedieningen), geen gordijnen en verlichting erg basic. Daardoor is prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding niet echt in orde, want het is behoorlijk prijzig.'

'Clean, comfortable, quite, spacious, well provisioned. Just a short walk across the park to the shops and restaurants. One word of warning, very little is open in town on Tuesday.'

'Dit is vooral een accomodatie voor vogelaars/natuurliefhebbers. Het is zeer basic ingericht. Wel met een gezellig kacheltje wat je wel nodig hebt. Redelijk frisjes. Wat erg leuk was dat je sugar sliders en bandicoots kon zien omdat ze 's avonds honing aan een boom smeerde. '

'Het complex is wat verouderd en de 5 sterren zijn naar mijn mening twijfelachtig. Geen portier aanwezig om te assisteren met koffer als je aan komt bijvoorbeeld. Ook is het binnenste van het hotel in de openlucht gebouwd, daardoor hoor je de liftbel continue als iemand tussen de 3 en de 9 verdieping op de liftbel drukt. Wij zaten aan ze zeezijde, daar heb je wel een prachtig uitzicht over de zee en de heuvels. Het zwembad is wat klein, verouderd en er zijn niet heel veel bedden. Als je er...

'I saw some reviews that made me question my choice to stay here, but we had zero problems (well, the bathtub faucet was slow (shower was fine) but I'm not going to get upset about that). Bathroom was very nice. Main part of room was excellent. We had room 902 and it was a spectacular view of just about everything. I do recommend the better/larger room because you get an excellent lania. We sat there for two or three hours and watched a wedding on the party deck of the Hilton a block away. Later...
