Unfortunately, we left after the first night of a three-night stay because the overall condition of the property did not meet a reasonable standard.Our experience started with the provided door code not working when we arrived. While this was eventually resolved, it unfortunately set the tone for the stay.This wasn't about one or two minor inconveniences. The carpets were dirty and stained, with trash and loose change still on the floors, we found hair in one of the beds, and there was a strong cat urine smell from the sunroom that could be smelled throughout the house. We also found dishes stored in the kitchen cabinets that still had grease on them, as well as an unknown substance smeared across walls in multiple areas of the home.There were also significant maintenance concerns. The thermostat had a power issue, outlets in one room only worked when a light switch in another room was on, the back door handle was broken, the glass shower door was broken and difficult to operate, and several doors did not open or close properly. Most concerning, the bunk beds were loose enough that we did not feel they were safe to use.Other issues included an overgrown yard, laundry left in the dryer, and trash in the garage that was advertised for guest use.The host was responsive and offered a refund when we decided to leave.
