« This was our 5th stay at Bear Beach. We usually like to move around and try new places, but there simply is no place like it. It is a beautiful tradition we vow to repeat each year from our beach chairs. Maine at its wildest and most serene, with absolute privacy, epic days and glorious sunsets. We love to swim at high tide, dig for clams and clay at low tide and then rinse in the warm outdoor shower and relax in the sauna. Thank you Sue for sharing this with us! »

« We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port. »

« I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though »

« This was a really unique and fun place that gave us a lovely Maine coast getaway experience. The dome is very comfortable and we enjoyed reading, playing games, and enjoying the view. The kitchen and bath in the tiny house were clean and tidy and worked well for our family of three. The location is lovely, with access to the water and lots of privacy. Everything was as described and communication was excellent. Definitely recommend! »
