'Nestled on the side of a valley Mountain Meadows is a beautiful location to start our journey. Close enough to Golden, Denver and the surrounding parks but also out of the way enough to be quiet, relaxing and at one with nature. When we return to Colorado this is definitely a place we will stay again.'

'It was nice to be in town, easy walk to restaurants. Check-in was very easy, and the accommodations were great. Likewise was communication with host.'

'Amazing location! We chose this spot because it was close to red rocks and we were seeing a show there. We stayed in Denver the two nights before and ultimately wished we had stayed in Golden at this property the whole time. It is within walking distance to everything in downtown Golden. We will absolutely stay here again next time we are in town.'

'We are so glad we stayed here. These two units open up to each other, and although there isn't a full kitchen like a condo would have, there is a nice kitchenette. Staying up on the mountain was great because we really enjoyed the amenities up there and especially Jose's outdoor bar right at the bottom of the slopes. Had we stayed in town, we may not have enjoyed the mountain as much, yet by driving into town, we were able to enjoy the town as much as we desired. So, for us this was the perfect...

'This is a charming unit with all the needed kitchen utensils and rich in ski lore and history. The Hooges were excellent and helpful hosts and provided valuable tips on wildflower viewing spots and cultural events. My wife and I loved our stay. '

'Very nice stay, Pauline greeted me at check-in and was very friendly. The location was great as we could walk to everything on Leadville’s Main Street. The background noise machine was pleasant as we were greeted with the sound of chirping birds and the place smelled nice. We enjoyed visiting the near by fish hatchery and Twin Lakes. 'Grand Lodge hotel room that is a VRBO. It has excellent access to the ski lift. It is only a two minute walk to start your ski day (or Summer hike). The staff at the Grand Lodge is always friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect. Once you walk out the front doors you are almost in the bus line for downtown. This is awesome. Once you park at the hotel…..you don’t have to worry about driving at all :) Only bummer…..the room doesn’t have a microwave.'

'Great place to stay! Location was fantastic, short walk to base lifts. Super clean, lots of linens and storage for luggage. Parking was great and kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. We would definitely stay again! '
