Needs work, could be a good stay with investment in the property, not worth what the house is listed
while the host was very friendly-- this home is not worth the value it is listed at and we are very disappointed what we spent for our three night stay. We only flushed toilet paper and the toilets kept clogging. the garbage disposal did not work. many light switches did not work. the yard was nice and the deck was nice but we wish we would have known how close we were to the owners (want to emphasize how nice they were). the igniter on the grill did not work. a member of our group had their foot go through the dock and we are lucky they were not hurt. part of the dock that goes to the ladder is not crossable and visibly collapsing so it was difficult to get in and out of the water and the dock had exposed wires. this would not be safe for kids. and would be a huge liability if a family brought young kids to this house. and the bar area by the water is so dirty from the bar itself to the furniture around it that it was unusable. overall, we decided we would return to paw paw lake but not to this house. We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the house after reading a negative review prior to our stay and reaching out to vacasa about the concerns and we were assured that this property was well maintained and it was not. if you are looking for somewhere to stay if you are not staying at the house during the day, this would be fine.
