'Vertical Sky Suites (VSS) is an experience without parallel, in the best way. We (family of four) arrived at the base road after a taxi ride (arranged by VSS), stowed some of our extra gear at a secure storage site, then rode the last bit up on 4-wheelers with two experienced guides. 'Vanaf het station Ollantantambo gelopen, hetgeen door het zoeken niet direct heel eenvoudig was. Route is echter achteraf gemakkelijk. Loopinstructies zouden handig zijn geweest. Kwartier lopen vanaf station. Guesthouse zelf heel vriendelijk. Eenvoudige kamer, maar alles is aanezig en is schoon. Prima ontbijt met een glimlach. Prachtig gelegen in het oude centrum en met direct uitzicht op de oude Inca omgeving. Stadje is erg leuk. Aanbeveling om hier te verblijven voor bijv. 2 nachten. Vervoer...

'Good location clean. Unfortunately even the slightest street noise is audible in the room. Same for light and noise from the hallway. Very friendly staff.'

'This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) 'I think this is a typical hotel in this community. You get what you pay for. It felt a little bit like camping with the lack of amenities and cold water, but it’s all apart of the experience. The staff was nice. We saw the same fellow everyday I don’t think he had time off.'

'If you're looking for a great place to chill on a rooftop this place has an amazing hangout area! However the shower barley gets warm and if your visiting in July it is very cold on Ollantaytambo. Other than the hot water it was a fine stay.'
