  • Familie accommodatie met een prachtig strand op 5 minuten lopen. Gebied van uitzonderlijke natuurlijke schoonheid (Mussenden Temple, Downhill Demesne en Hezlett House). Castlerock treinstation ligt op 5 minuten lopen (verbindt Londonderry naar Belfast) en op de bus route. Goed voor gezinnen en groepen. In een cul-de-sac en zeer rustig. In de omgeving zijn tennisbanen, een voetbalveld, speelpark, golfbaan. Fantastische koffieshop op loopafstand. Veel restaurants in de omgeving.

The property was very comfy with plenty of space for a family or group of people. Owner responded promptly to questions. Only negative would be walkability. Not close to stores or eating establishments. We were not looking for that necessarily so it worked for us. Would highly recommend.

Overall this was our favorite VRBO on our tour through Ireland! The house was ADORABLE, we had more than enough room for everyone (4 of us) and were able to cook a meal or two with everything we needed. Walking distance to SO much, and nearby sites within an hour or so drive - it was the best stop of the trip! We would definitely stay here again.

AVery Happy experience.

Our stay was for a family reunion and suites all ages. Quiet area. Convenient to beach , shops and train.The whole family enjoyed their stay and were very pleased with the accomodation. Would highly recommend this accomodation.

Great!

Lots of room for sleeping and moving about with a family. Very comfortable and loved the sunroom!! We very much enjoyed our stay. Make sure you go to the beach.

October holiday

The property was comfortable and well equipped. A hand rail on the 4 steps to the lower floor would have helped with my limited mobility. We had a very enjoyable family holiday

Castlerock cottage

This was a great location for us to explore North Ireland. The drive along the Causeway Road was spectacular. If you go take time to stop and look at the sights. Castlerock is a beach town. So if you are going during summer the house is equipped with beach going equipment. Wonderful village and house is a great location

A lovely home situated near the Atlantic. Easy access to both Derry and the Antrim Coast. The listing said “No WiFi”; however, it does indeed have WiFi. Would definitely return.

Very nice days in Castlerock

We were 3 elder couples. Like that each couple had it's own bathroom. The big room in the entrance to eat and cook is perfect. 2 living rooms make sure you have your quiet place.We didn't miss anything in this house: Washing machine, equipement for hanging the dresses outside, chairs outside to enjoy the sun, 2 TV's (the weather was too nice to watch TV), ....The shop in the village sells everything you need. In the low season we noticed that restaurants are not open on a monday - but you have your kitchen and microwave: so no problem.We were surprised how nice the surrounding in Northern Ireland is: beach, villages, hiking ways, touristic attractions such as the Giants Causeway ....It was great! Thanks a lot to the landlord.

Castlerock

We had a very pleasant stay at Stephens property. The communication with Stephen was good, information was concise and clear. Check in and out with the lockbox makes life very simple and no need to worry about meeting someone at the property at a given time. The location was quiet and relaxing and the property itself is deceptively large. It accommodated four adults and six children with room to spare. There was very little that we needed to bring in terms of essentials, all of these things such as tea / coffee, cooking oil, bin bags, cleaning products were all provided and we appreciated that very much. The facilities were excellent, cooker, dishwasher, fridge etc all in good order and clean. With three bathrooms in the property we were very well catered for in that regard. All in all would have no hesitation in recommending Stephens property to anyone, suits large parties well and is spacious and bright and a generally very comfortable place to stay.

The house was wonderful thank you so much for allowing us to see them. Castle rock Beach was truly just a short walk away a great beach for shells and play.The only recommendation I would make would be to have hot pads for taking things out of the oven

Great house in great village

The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Castle rock, about five minutes walk from the beach. From the outside it looks like a traditional three bedroom bungalow but first impressions bely a cleverly extended home that sleeps 11. The bedrooms are well proportioned and comfortable on multiple levels. There's two sitting rooms, one with a wood burner, and the heart of the house is a large kitchen/dining room with a large table that invites a big meal (during our stay we actually cooked a Christmas dinner). Castle rock is an unpretentious village with wonderful walks, a single bar/restaurant where the staff really work hard, a delightful craft shop and a couple of the most welcoming coffee shops. We were there in winter when it was very quiet, very cold and a little wet, but I reckon it would be a great venue for a summer break. That was just what we wanted. This was a great long weekend in a great house. Thoroughly recommended.
