What an absolutely incredible place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is so peaceful, and the views are simply breathtaking. Pictures really don’t do it justice! We loved waking up every morning, enjoying the amazing scenery, and just taking in everything this beautiful place has to offer. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind while still being close to everything Santa Teresa has to offer. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Such a special little piece of paradise! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! The view from our room was amazing, private view to the ocean. The room is super spacious, private and clean. One day I stayed in the hotel just to enjoy its beauty of the place. Its on top of the hill, and the way up is quite steep, so for sure you need a car to get there and down.

If you’re looking for ocean view privacy and a thriving local town within close proximity, book Vista Del Alma! Their breakfast menu is incredible, food and drinks are made from scratch, and each villa offers maximum privacy. Staff are extremely accommodating; the team helped my husband and I book transportation to/from the airport, renting an ATV, and listing local hotspots and restaurants to try. Tip: book a villa with a pool; you won’t be disappointed!

The hotel was outstanding—especially the view, which was absolutely breathtaking. The interior design is very modern and stylish, creating a comfortable and upscale atmosphere. The breakfast was good, with a solid variety of options. One of the highlights was definitely the heated pool on the terrace—it was fantastic and made the stay even more memorable. Even though the hotel is wonderful, the price is still quite high.

When we arrived we were given a tour of the room and resort which ended with a welcome drink at the bar. Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures. When the door was opened to the room, just wow, was all I could say. Our stay was great. The breakfasts were very good-we opted to include those in our reservation-and ate at our villa every morning. I would stay here again and highly recommend to others!

Beautiful property and beautiful room! Very clean. Staff was great and it was wonderful getting breakfast served in our room every morning! Would definitely stay again. The only reason I didn’t give the property a full 5 star rating is because of something really minor, one morning during our breakfast delivery it came much earlier than we asked and the order was wrong, when the staff arrived he acknowledged all of this during delivery but given how expensive this property is and that breakfast costs extra this mistake should have just been resolved on its own by the staff before delivery.

Awesome boutique hotel with amazing views perfect for a getaway and located in the quiet area of santa teresa the good part about being a little far from the main street is that you can scape from all of the dust and noise (its a lot). Be sure to bring a car to the hotel 4x4 if possible but they are working on fixing the road at this moment.

Spectacular views, outstanding, professional and personal service, beautiful landscaping! The entire staff (Karla in particular) are eager to accommodate any requests to ensure your stay is perfect. The owners and staff of Vista Del Alma have excelled in setting their boutique resort apart from all others in every way - from the unique architecture, luxurious well-designed interiors, to the smallest supplied incidentals (comfortable robes, hand crafted body wash and shampoo, cappuccino maker, etc.). We had a truly lovely stay and sincerely appreciate the friendly, professional service we experienced!

Just lovely. This is exactly the place to completely relax. Truly the only thing I would request is more hooks in the room for various bathing suits, robes, towels, etc. It was the romantic escape we needed. Bed was firm and wonderful. Shower was a delight. Plunge pool was amazing. View was spectacular. Would visit again — also, the orange cat that roams the property is the best cat. I love him and would go back just to hang out with him.

Incredible stay! Didn’t want to leave

Incredible stay! Loved the amethyst villa with hot tub. Gorgeous view. Everything clean and comfortable. Thankful for the 4x4 warning so we were prepared with the correct vehicle. Staff were super friendly although a bit disorganized and took weeks to respond to inquiries before we arrived, and after we arrived messaging us the same questions from two phones, just felt not on par with the quality and price of everything else. Still everything was wonderful!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. After a 20+ hour travel day, we arrived exhausted and unfortunately encountered a bug issue on our first night. What impressed us most wasn’t the problem itself, but how the staff handled it. They immediately took our concerns seriously and, without us even asking, upgraded us to their best villa, which was significantly nicer and more expensive than our original booking. From that point on, the team went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They regularly checked on us, treated the room multiple times, provided extra towels for the doors, and did everything possible to make us feel safe and welcome. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff helped arrange tours, excursions, transportation, shuttle services, and even connected us with a reliable taxi driver. Everyone was friendly, personable, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. A special thank you to Cynthia and Shami, who were incredibly helpful before and during our stay. They answered questions, helped us prepare for the trip, and were always available when we needed assistance. They even had breakfast ready early for us on mornings when our excursions started before breakfast service officially opened. What could have been a rough start turned into an amazing stay because of the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of the staff. We left feeling cared for and would happily stay here again.
