'I had difficulty (they did not answer their phone) with Hotels.com. The friendly and understanding Wingate staff resolved my problem with Hotels.com. I am a bit feeble and old and the room provided for me and my wife was outstanding…it had all the necessities for a handicapped person like myself. Normally I would have requested a 1st floor room with handicapped facilities. However I was exhausted from a long drive and the difficulty with Hotel.com…That I just wanted to get to my room.'

'I chose this hotel because it was about 6 minutes from South Georgia motor park. Its a older hotel. Nothing fancy. We just needed a place to sleep. The owner/manager was super nice. The room didnt have pillows nor toilet paper but he called house keeping and had them take some to the room. There was no microwave which i disappointed in that and no remote for the tv. But after leaving the race track at midnight we pretty much crashed and went to sleep. It served its purpose for us.'
