Cleaning company could stand to concentrate on forgotten corners and hidden areas! Please remove the plastic dishes that are not dishwasher safe! Otherwise we had a great time in one of the most peaceful places Iâve ever stayed! Thank you
Overall a below average stay with a beautiful view. Upon arriving we noticed tons of daddy long leg spiders and cobwebs in all the corners of the ceiling and spent about the first 30-45 minutes killing spiders and clearing webs. There mustâve been at least 30-40 that we killed as they were in every room, bathroom, and kitchen/living room area. There were some giant ones in the laundry room but we just kept the door closed. Every day we went out and came back to the house weâd find about a dozen more already in the corners of the ceiling and baseboards so weâd do a sweep of all the rooms and bathroom to kill all the spiders. And another sweep in the morning. Never seen such an infestation. So glad we were only there two nights.Bed sheets also had a slightly musty smell to them. Not sure that anyoneâs actually been to the rental to actually check on the cleanliness. As someone else also previously mentioned, the patio furniture isnât very comfortable either as there are no seat cushions, only small throw pillows.
Love the privacy each bedroom offered. The sunsets were incredible and the fire pit was delightful.
The outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable, and the coffee offerings were limited.
We love Whidbey! This intimate house on the bluff was great for us (3 adults) with amazing views of the Sound and Olympic mountains. It was close to restaurants and venues with a nice deck for morning coffee, giant TV and very responsive host. We had an issue with the roof over the deck and they had someone out to fix it within a few hours which was appreciated. Beds were comfortable-location is quiet and private.
