Welcome to Cedarview Retreat by AvantStay, a serene woodland escape tucked among the evergreens of Whidbey Island. Surrounded by lush forest and only minutes from Clinton’s ferry docks and the island’s scenic beaches, this home offers the perfect mix of privacy and easy access to the best of the Pacific Northwest. Explore local wineries, hike coastal trails, or wander through Langley’s boutique shops and cafés—all just a short drive away.

Inside, an open layout and vaulted windows bring in natural light and views of the trees. The inviting living room features a fireplace and comfortable seating, while the dining table for six sets the stage for shared meals. A large kitchen, stocked with all the essentials, makes cooking together a breeze. Folding tables and chairs allow you to easily create your own workspace, extra dining space, or even bring meals outdoors for alfresco moments under the trees.

Three bedrooms each offer a cozy queen bed, providing restful spaces for up to six guests. Two full bathrooms—one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combo—make it easy for everyone to refresh after a day outdoors.

Step outside to your private deck, complete with a BBQ grill for alfresco dining. In the evenings, gather around the in-ground firepit for stargazing and stories under the trees. With a washer and dryer on hand, the home is equally suited for quick weekend escapes or longer getaways.

Home Truths:
- This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet. Please note that Island County leash laws require all dogs to be leashed unless in a designated off-leash area.
- Guests are welcome to enjoy the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. Please note that firewood is not provided, so we recommend bringing your own.
- Please note: Air conditioning is available in the main living room for your comfort, but not throughout the entire house.
- For your convenience, a steamer is provided in place of an iron and ironing board.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.
- This home allows up to 2 dogs for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- Please note: The propane barbecue is seasonal and is put away during the winter months.

- Parking: Guests have access to 4 driveway spaces. Please note the garage is not available.

All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit to be charged after booking.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

The place was exactly as advertised and we had a wonderful time. The place is spacious, clean, and has lots of big windows for light. One bonus was a room on main floor and a bathroom next to it for our elderly mother in law who isn’t as mobile as she used to be.
