Cottages in Cleator

'This was our second visit to Millside Cottage, the location is ideal , it's dog friendly and you can park your car safely off the road. There are some fabulous walks straight from the door for all abilities from a pleasant stroll to a bagging a string of Wainwrights. The cottage could do with some new furniture as the sofas are worn and somewhat uncomfortable, the front of the house were you park the car had some loose pavers and could do with weeding to give the property the appeal it...

'Great accommodation in a lovely little village with fantastic views. Everything you could need to make this a home from home and only a 20 minute walk into Keswick.'

'Absolutely amazing. The view was brilliant, the cabin was perfect, and was welcomed on arrival and made to feel part of the family. Would definately recommend and will be coming back in the future.'

'Cozy, comfy and private pod. Clean, with good facilities for making breakfast toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Walking distance to Keswick about 25 minutes, footpath runs down the side of the site.'

'Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!'

'Stayed here for two nights, the property is superb. Spotless clean and in a brilliant location. Will definitely return, and 100% recommend.'

'Great cottage in a very good area outside Keswick. Comfortable, good for walks , car trips to other places . Would recommend.'

'We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. The views from The Eyrie are stunning. The Eyrie had so much space and was very well presented. Lovely, comfy beds and all facilities great. Everything thought of. 'Very comfortable and clean, great spot for walking locally or down to Keswick. Plenty of space for meals and cooking or just relaxing. Good pub next door! Car parking is tight- more signage would help - and outdoor areas would benefit from some weeding, but these are minor points. Would definitely recommend.'

'We had an amazing stay at Mill House, it was such a lovely place to come back to after our walks. Very spacious and well equipped, super comfortable beds and we loved learning to play pool. 5 stars not enough!'

'Excellent company to book with , all arrangements were very straight forward . A nice touch is supporting the local food bank with excess food t the end of your stay. Property was as described , well equipped and in a fab location .'

'The location of the apartment is ideal for everything. Very close to all the amenities & centre of Keswick plus the lakeside path to start walks. Beautifully decorated & everything we needed for a long weekend away. Enough space for 6 people with 2 bathrooms which is always a bonus. Would definitely return.'
