Welcome to Ron’s Landing, our family’s tribute to the simple joys of Clear Lake and the father who taught us to appreciate them. For years, weekends here meant mornings on the lake, afternoons spent together, evenings around the campfire, and conversations that lasted long after the sun went down. Those moments became some of our family’s greatest memories, and when we renovated this home, our goal wasn’t simply to create a vacation rental. We wanted to create a place where other families and friends could slow down, reconnect, and create traditions of their own.

Nestled on a quiet private drive with beautiful views of Clear Lake, Ron’s Landing blends the charm of small-town Americana with the comforts of a thoughtfully updated home. Whether you’re here for a week on the water, a cozy fall weekend, winter ice fishing, or simply a chance to unplug from everyday life, you’ll find spaces designed for both gathering together and enjoying a little quiet.

With three bedrooms, two family rooms, a sitting room, a four-season sunroom overlooking the lake, a screened porch, an upstairs deck, and a spacious backyard with a fire pit, there’s room for everyone to settle in. Share a meal around the dining table, play board games in the sunroom, sip coffee while watching the sunrise over the lake, spend an evening around the fireplace or fire pit, or simply enjoy the slower pace that makes Clear Lake so special.

We furnished Ron’s Landing the way we would want a vacation home to feel if we were the guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, double ovens, cookware, spices, oils, and many of the little things that are often missing from vacation rentals. Throughout the home you’ll find comfortable beds, quality linens, charging stations, Sonos speakers, games, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and thoughtful touches intended to make your stay comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Clear Lake offers something to enjoy in every season. Spend your days boating, swimming, paddleboarding, fishing, cycling, shopping downtown, exploring local restaurants, visiting the Surf Ballroom, or taking peaceful walks through the surrounding neighborhoods. In the winter, enjoy a day on the ice before returning home to warm up by the fireplace. While the property does not have a private dock, public boat ramps, State Beach, and convenient lake access are only minutes away.

One thing we’re especially proud of is what our guests say after they leave. They consistently describe Ron’s Landing as exceptionally clean, thoughtfully stocked, comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming. Many mention that they appreciated having enough room for everyone to gather without ever feeling crowded, while others say it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a family lake home. Perhaps our favorite compliment is how many guests tell us they can’t wait to come back.

For the security of our guests and the property, two exterior security cameras monitor only the front and back entry doors. There are no interior cameras or cameras overlooking guest living areas.
